How to add objectives and how these appear to your learners.

1: Adding learning objectives to your event:

An integral part of our mission at GiraffePad is to help you engage learners early so they arrive primed and ready to learn. One way to do this is to share the learning objectives with them as soon as you create your event page.

Once the event page is created and saved you will see the following box on the page:

 

Click on "+Add objective" and the following will pop-up:

 

This is a free text box: type in your objectives and click "Save". Your Objective will now appear in the Event Objectives box. Repeat this as many or as few time as you like, there are no restrictions on the number of objectives you can include in you event.

 

2: How do the objectives appear on the learners event page?

The image below shows you how these appear. Just below the event title and description and just above the box where they add their personal objectives.

 

3: How do I delete or edit an objective?

If you want to delete an objective simply click on the X next to that objective in the event page. To edit you will also need to delete and then re-enter the objective.

Once you delete or change an objective these will be instantly updated on your learners event pages.
