How to duplicate a similar or regularly occurring event.

1: Duplicating an event:

In circumstances where you run the same event on a number of occasions this is a time saving feature that will help enormously. So if you have the same event for a number of cohorts, are running a public course that is repeated in a  number of locations or deliver a similar workshop to a variety of clients, check out this feature.

When you duplicate an event the information that is copied over to the new event is:

  • Event information (title, description, dates, times, location)
  • Event objectives
  • Event resources (loaded by you)
  • Lead and additional trainers

In the new "cloned" event all of this information is editable: once you have edited the information accordingly you are ready to invite your new learners and your new event is up and running.

2: How to duplicate an event:

Open the event you wish to "clone". In the top right hand corner you will see the following buttons:

Select the "Clone" button and you will see a pop-up:

Click on "Clone" and you will see this pop-up massage:

Click on this and you will be taken to the cloned event and be able to start editing and inviting learners.

Note: Your event title will have "Cloned" added to the end. Simply delete this when you do your editing.
