How to clone events within your programme to save time and retain identical information.
1: Duplicating an event:
Within a programme if you want to schedule the same event on a number of occasions this is a time saving feature that will help enormously. So if you have the same event for a number of cohorts, or are running smaller group or individual coaching sessions, check out this feature.
When you "clone" an event the information that is copied over to the new event is:
- Event information (title, description, dates, times, location)
- Event objectives
- Event resources (uploaded by you)
- Lead and additional trainers
Any learner specific information or data is not copied over, so the list of learners, their personal information and resources and any of the chat history is not copied over to the new event.
In the new "cloned" event all of this information is editable: once you have edited the information accordingly you are ready to invite your new learners and your new event is up and running.
2: How to duplicate an event:
Open the event within your programme you wish to "clone". In the top right hand corner you will see the following buttons:
Select the "Clone" button and you will see a pop-up:
Click on "Clone" and you will see this pop-up massage:
Click on this and you will be taken to the cloned event and be able to start editing and inviting learners.
Note: Your event title will have "Cloned" added to the end. Simply delete this when you do your editing.
