How and why to add your feedback on your learning experience.

1: Why add my feedback?

Providing feedback on your learning experience is hugely beneficial for your trainer/facilitator/coach. Insights on the content, the format, the relevance and the style of learning mean your trainer can continuously improve and refine their approach. Using GiraffePad also means you do not need to use paper sheets or remember to email them at a later date. You are also in control of your feedback so can add / delete / edit at a later date.

It is particularly useful to add feedback not only at the end of the learning event, but a few days later when you have had an opportunity to reflect and a few weeks later when you are fully in to transferring your learning and can feedback on the impact it is having.

2: How do I add feedback and who will see it?

Scroll down your event page and below your Actions and Commitments you will see the following box:

Click on "Add feedback" and you will have a free text box. Add your feedback and click save. You can repeat this process as many times as you like if you want to separate out relevant pieces of feedback for your trainer.

Please note: this will only be seen by your trainer and not by the group of learners on this event. Your trainer should seek your permission and inform you if they are going to share this feedback with anyone.

3: Can I edit or delete my feedback?

Yes, to edit: simply click on the relevant feedback line you wish to edit, make the changes and then click anywhere outside this box. This will save your changes and update your trainers event page.

To delete your feedback click on the X next to relevant box. This will delete the feedback on your event page and also your trainers event page too.
